Al-jarrahi: The "Greatest Messenger" football tournament for popular teams was launched today in Al-Jarrahi district of Al-Hudaydah governorate. The event is organized by the Youth and Sports Office in the district in celebration of the Prophet's birthday anniversary.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the local authority leadership, and the general mobilization in the governorate. It features five sports teams competing in a round-robin format with home and away matches.
The opening match, which brought together the Al-Ittihad and Al-Salam teams, saw competitiveness and balance between the two sides, ending in a goalless draw before a large crowd.
