Sana'a: An expanded meeting chaired by Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Sam al-Bashiri discussed on Wednesday ways to enhance institutional performance and improve the work environment in line with the requirements of the current stage and the ministry's modernization and development agenda.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, which was attended by the ministry's undersecretaries for the Foreign Trade and Export Development Sector, Fouad Huwaidi, and the Industry and Economic Cities Sector, Engineer Sami Maqbuli, along with ministry employees and staff, al-Bashiri emphasized the importance of collaborative teamwork. He explained that the ministry is preparing to implement its 1448 AH plan, which includes a range of economic projects and programs that require all personnel to fulfill their responsibilities, intensify efforts, mobilize available capacities, and work collectively to improve services and enhance the business environment.
Al-Bashiri also reviewed the progress made in automating procedures and providing all ministry services through an electronic portal, noting that these measures strengthen transparency, governance, and trust between the government and the private sector. He further affirmed the ministry's commitment to improving the employment and living conditions of its staff, within available resources, and to building their capacities through training and qualification programs.
For their part, several ministry employees expressed appreciation for the efforts of the ministry's leadership and affirmed their commitment to implementing the ministry's plans and programs and achieving the desired results.
