Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah launched the fifth phase of the "Radical Change" pathway for police stations in the Capital Sana'a on Monday. This phase focuses on the districts of al-Safiyah, al-Thawra, and Shamlan, promoting the slogan: "For Security that Serves the People."

According to Yemen News Agency, Miftah highlighted that the enhancement of police performance aligns with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He stressed the importance of heightened alertness in addressing organized crime and intelligence-related threats from foreign entities. The emphasis was placed on treating detainees with "responsibility and benevolence" (Ihsan), advocating for intelligence, skill, and professionalism in investigations rather than the use of force.

The Acting Prime Minister described security work as a form of worship and "great Jihad" serving the people, resonating with the nation's faith-based identity. He also instructed an increase in patrols and field presence as Ramadan approaches, aiming to maintain stability and reduce crime.

Major General Abdulfattah al-Madani, Director of Training and Qualification at the Ministry of Interior, elaborated that this phase entails implementing staff changes based on ongoing field evaluations to ensure efficiency. Officers will be equipped with modern security and administrative skills as well as "Quranic culture," enhancing the relationship between security forces and citizens through improved service delivery.
