Sana'a: Ammar al-Hareb, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, recently inspected the summer activities and courses in the northern al-Hasaba neighborhood of al-Thawra district in the Capital Sana'a. During his visit, he assessed the variety of programs aimed at enhancing students' educational, cultural, and skills-based learning, as well as their participation in sports activities.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Hareb was briefed by course organizers on the ongoing initiatives designed to bolster students' capabilities and help develop their talents. He had the opportunity to observe students demonstrating their abilities in Holy Quran recitation, public speaking, and other disciplines. The efforts of the teaching staff in facilitating these educational experiences were commended by the officials present.
Al-Hareb highlighted the significance of these courses in fostering a well-rounded generation and shielding them from "false cultures" and the "soft war" that threaten their identity, values, and morals. He encouraged students to utilize their free time to gain knowledge, refine their skills, and adopt positive values, thereby contributing to the development of a conscious and responsible generation.
In addition, al-Thawra district director Aqil al-Saqqaf underscored the importance of the summer activities in enhancing academic, cultural, and religious comprehension, as well as nurturing students' creative abilities. These activities play a crucial role in building a generation rooted in the Holy Quran and a faith-based identity.
