Al hudaydah: Agriculture Minister Dr. Radwan al-Rubai inspected on Thursday operations at al-Khubah Fishing Port, reviewing fishing activities, services, and challenges with port officials. Al-Rubai stressed the port's role in supporting fishermen and fish production, noting plans to modernize infrastructure, upgrade equipment, and improve storage to boost quality and sustainability, contributing to food security and the national economy.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. al-Rubai emphasized the importance of the port in enhancing the livelihoods of local fishermen and ensuring a stable fish supply. The minister outlined a strategic vision to revitalize the port's facilities, which includes significant investments in modernizing the port's infrastructure and upgrading current equipment to align with international standards.
