Nobles Association, Disabled Care Fund Distribute Assistive Devices in Sana’a

Sana'a: The Nobles Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Deaf, Mute, and Persons with Disabilities in Al-Hayma Al-Dakhiliya, Sana'a Governorate, held a ceremony today to distribute assistive devices provided by the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund under the slogan 'Years of Giving.'

According to Yemen News Agency, Abdullah Banyan, President of the Yemeni National Federation of Associations for Persons with Disabilities, stated that the event, coinciding with the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday, reflects social solidarity and the commitment of the state and supporting organizations to people with disabilities. This initiative aims to help them integrate effectively into society and overcome challenges.

Ahmed Al-Asadi, representing the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund, highlighted the services provided by the fund to all categories of persons with disabilities. These services include support for the Nobles Association with more than 700 services, encompassing medical care, assistive devices, and wheelchairs.

Nobles Association President Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din praised the fund's support, which enables the association to meet the needs of many beneficiaries. He emphasized the association's commitment to developing its rehabilitative, educational, and medical services to align with the needs of its members. Providing assistive devices is seen as a key step toward improving quality of life and enabling independence and dignity.

Sharaf Al-Din called on relevant authorities and donors to continue supporting the association's specialized programs and projects, with the aim of expanding its reach to benefit the largest possible number of people across different areas.

The ceremony included musical performances and a theatrical sketch expressing hope, determination, and resilience, addressing disability issues with an optimistic vision. It also featured messages of love for the homeland, celebration of the Prophet's Birthday, support for Gaza and the Palestinian cause, and the presentation of certificates to supporting organizations and participants.
