Agriculture Ministry Plans Model Citizen Service Center

Sanaa:The Acting Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Ammar Al-Karim, engaged in discussions with Anas Sufian, Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, regarding the establishment of a model citizen service center at the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on creating a unified service manual aligned with the Ministry's new organizational structure. This manual aims to streamline procedures and enhance service quality by integrating various organizational units under a single location.

The discussions highlighted the significance of the service center in providing citizens and service users with simplified and organized procedures. Additionally, the importance of service profiles, which define the requirements and documentation needed for services, was emphasized. These profiles are intended to standardize processes, offering clear and direct access to necessary information.

The meeting led to the approval of forming a service development team within the Ministry and organizing a training workshop for its members. This training will focus on the new methodology for preparing service profiles and aligning procedures with existing laws and regulations, reducing the complexity and number of documents required for service access.

The efforts to improve services include reducing bureaucracy, streamlining transactions, and leveraging digital transformation. These initiatives are designed to save time and effort for citizens while enhancing the quality and efficiency of public services.

The Deputy Minister praised the Ministry's efforts to consolidate services and implement standards for procedural simplification. He also noted the launch of the "Tabseet" electronic platform, which facilitates access to services online, minimizing the need for physical visits to the Ministry. This move represents a significant step towards improving administrative efficiency and service accessibility.
