Sana'a: Shura Council Chairman Mohammed al-Aidaroos chaired a meeting with Health Minister Dr. Nabil Shaiban and members of the council's Health and Population Committee to review conditions in the health sector, particularly at al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in the capital Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting discussed medical and service conditions at al-Thawra Hospital, reviewing a committee report on performance, challenges, and recommendations. Participants examined service capacity, shortages in equipment, medicines, and specialized staff, and the impact of current conditions on healthcare delivery.
Al-Aidaroos praised the ministry's efforts despite limited resources and affirmed the council's readiness to provide advisory support to address obstacles.
The Health Minister welcomed the council's engagement, outlining ongoing efforts to sustain services and pledging to translate committee recommendations into practical action plans.
