Muscat: The Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Capital Secretariat, Amin Jumaan, along with the Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee of the Secretariat's Local Council, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, visited on Sunday the sixth 'Event Festival' consumer fair for the Blessed Month, held at Al-Wahda Club in the Capital.
According to Yemen News Agency, Jumaan and Al-Naqeeb toured the fair's pavilions, which feature consumer and Ramadan products from a selection of national companies, with participation from family-run businesses, as well as special offers ahead of the upcoming Ramadan season.
They listened to explanations from the organizers, who highlighted the types of food and consumer products, Ramadan offers and discounts available to citizens, as well as the level of preparation, organization, and public turnout at the fair, which continues until the end of Sha'ban.
Jumaan and Al-Naqeeb praised the efforts to organize such fairs and the participation of family-run businesses, emphasizing their importance in promoting and marketing local products. They stressed the necessity of supporting local products and enhancing economic empowerment across various sectors.
