Al-Allama Muftah Reviews Operations at General Directorate of Criminal Investigations

Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Al-Allama Muhammad Ahmed Muftah visited the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Monday. Al-Allama Muftah, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajid Al-Murtada, assessed the directorate's operations, focusing on its efforts in combating crime and its role in fostering coordination with various security agencies and government bodies to prevent and address criminal activities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Acting Prime Minister and his delegation received a briefing from Brigadier General Ahsan Majazi, the Director General of the Directorate. The briefing highlighted the directorate's activities and the progress in implementing its tasks. It emphasized the readiness of criminal investigation personnel, their significant role in maintaining public security and order, and their success in tracking and apprehending criminals. Several cases currently under investigation by the directorate were also discussed.

During the visit, Al-Allama Muftah commended the directorate's efforts in combating and reducing crime. He encouraged all personnel to intensify their efforts, remain vigilant, and uphold a strong sense of responsibility in apprehending criminals and conducting investigations into all types of crime.

Al-Allama Muftah also stressed the importance of continuous training and professional development for the directorate's security personnel, expressing his wishes for their continued success in fulfilling their security duties, combating crime, and protecting society from its harms.
