Sana'a: Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan al-Sa'adi, together with 21 September University Rector Dr. Mujahid Me'asar, inaugurated the second level of al-Aqsa Flood courses, new dental laboratories, clinics, and an automated electronic testing center at the university.
According to Yemen News Agency, the courses are designed to train 2,352 students in practical, cultural, and military skills, including weapon handling, while promoting awareness, identity values, and preparedness. Minister Al-Sa'adi emphasized the courses' importance in mobilizing youth and defending key causes.
The newly established dental labs are equipped with 30 modern dental chairs and 50 phantom units, all of which are fully self-funded. The electronic testing center is outfitted with 220 laptops to automate exams for all university programs, aiming to enhance transparency, accuracy, and speed.
During their visit, the minister and university officials toured various facilities, including medical and surgical labs, a high-resolution 3D virtual cadaver, classrooms, clinical skills labs, and advisory clinics that offer free medical services to the community.
Minister Al-Sa'adi lauded the university's rapid advancements, focusing on integrated educational development and competitive quality services to bolster national growth. Rector Me'asar highlighted that these initiatives are part of a strategic plan to expand academic programs, infrastructure, and practical training while adhering to accreditation standards.
