Al-Awadhi Secures Victory in “Greatest Messenger” Cycling Cup in Sana’a

Sana'a: Cyclist Abdulkarim Al-Awadhi was crowned champion of the open cycling championship for the "Greatest Messenger" Cup, organized by the Sana'a branch of the Cycling Federation, under the supervision of the Sana'a Youth and Sports Office, in celebration of the Prophet's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the championship, sponsored by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports and Capital Sana'a, saw the participation of 50 cyclists competing over a distance of 41 kilometers. The race began at Al-Sarkha Roundabout, continued through Airport Street, and concluded at the finish line.

The individual results of the race placed Abdulkarim Al-Awadhi in first position, with Amer Radman finishing second, Ahmed Al-Suraimi in third, Abdulrahman Al-Sharmani in fourth, Jamal Al-Ba'dani in fifth, and Mohammed Al-Ansi in sixth.

At the conclusion of the competitions, Abdullah Ubaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Capital, Saleh Al-Rayashi, Head of the Cycling Federation branch, and Abdulrahman Al-Suraimi, Head of the Alpha Fitness Club, presented the champion, Al-Awadhi, with the tournament cup. They also distributed medals, certificates of appreciation, and cash prizes to the other top finishers.

The Director of the Youth Office stated that the tournament was organized as part of the sports activities and events celebrating the Prophet's birthday. He emphasized the office's commitment to holding events that contribute to developing young talent and strengthening faith and Yemeni identity.
