Al-bayda: The Office of Economy, Industry and Investment in Al-Bayda Governorate has destroyed seventeen tons of expired dairy and food products.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Office of Economy in the governorate, Ahmed Al-Taheri, explained that the materials were seized during inspection and monitoring campaigns carried out by the office and its branches across various districts of the governorate.
He noted that the destroyed items included a variety of dairy products, juices, and soft drinks, which had been confiscated by the office's inspection teams. All related procedures were completed in the presence of representatives of the concerned authorities.
Al-Taheri affirmed that market monitoring campaigns will continue in the governorate center and its districts, calling on citizens to cooperate with inspection teams by reporting any price manipulation or the sale of expired products.
