Al Bayda Discusses Mobilization Plan for Central Mawlid Event

Al bayda: A meeting held in Al Bayda Governorate on Thursday, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, discussed efforts to mobilize for the central event marking the Prophet Mohammed's birth anniversary.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed preparations for the central event, scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal in Al-Thawra City, and the responsibilities of local officials and mobilization committees to ensure the success of the Mawlid activities. Governor Idris urged the committees to intensify mobilization efforts and ensure broad participation in the celebrations, stressing that such activities reinforce Yemenis' connection with and emulation of the Prophet.

He highlighted the importance of active participation as an expression of Yemen's Islamic identity and its longstanding bond with the Prophet Mohammed. Idris also praised the Yemeni people's support for Gaza, saying it had restored Yemen's leading role in the Muslim world. He called for highlighting the importance of jihad and exposing what he described as the negative role of 'client regimes.' He further stressed the importance of expressing joy on the occasion of the Prophet's birth and attending the commemorative events.
