Al-Bayda Governor Reviews Maintenance Workshop Project for Sanitation Fund Equipment

Al-bayda: Al-Bayda Governor, Abdullah Idris, reviewed on Wednesday the progress of the central workshop project for the maintenance of Sanitation and Improvement Fund equipment, phase two, with a budget of $100,000, supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross. Governor Idris, accompanied by the Governorate's Undersecretary, Hussein Aidrous, listened to a briefing from the Fund's Director, Engineer Mohamed Jamal, on the progress of phase two, including the installation of a solar energy system, a service submersible pump, a wash station, and a lifting winch for equipment.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris emphasized the importance of the central maintenance workshop for the Fund's equipment as part of the focus on infrastructure projects, highlighting the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross in this regard. He described the implementation of the central maintenance workshop, fuel station, service facilities, and Fund equipment as a significant step that will contribute to advancing sanitation and improvement work in the governorate.

Governor Idris also praised the efforts of sanitation workers and field teams supervising cleaning campaigns, as well as the planting of trees on central medians in major cities.
