Al-bayda: A high-level meeting in Al-Bayda governorate, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris on Sunday, evaluated the implementation plan for service, development, and agricultural projects for the fiscal years 1445 and 1446 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Abdul-Salam Al-Nusayri and directors of relevant executive offices, who collectively reviewed the progress of local authority development plans. The discussions centered on ensuring compliance with engineering and technical standards, following legal procedures, and addressing practical observations and recommendations from ongoing assessments.
Participants at the meeting stressed the importance of completing preliminary project studies, adhering to designated completion schedules, and overcoming existing operational shortfalls. Governor Idris reiterated the local authority's commitment to overseeing project execution according to technical specifications and finding practical solutions for stalled initiatives.
The Governor further emphasized the need to improve institutional performance, modernize monitoring and evaluation tools, and foster closer coordination between the technical committee and executive offices. He instructed all departments to concentrate efforts on the current year's investment program, with a focus on prioritizing projects that directly address citizens' immediate needs.
