Al-hodeidah: Governor of Al-Hodeidah, Abdullah Atefi, inspected the operations at Al-Thawrah Hospital Authority, focusing on the medical and therapeutic services offered to patients across its specialized centers. During his visit, Governor Atefi toured important facilities, including the Pediatric Emergency Center, Diagnostic Radiology Center, and Child Nutrition Center. He also assessed the final preparations of the new Surgical Operations Center, the connecting bridge to inpatient wards, the free pharmacy, and other departments.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor received detailed briefings from the Authority's Chairman, Dr. Khalid Ahmed Suhail, and department heads about the services provided and the requirements needed to enhance performance. Dr. Suhail presented the modern equipment at the Surgical Operations Center and the connecting bridge, alongside efforts to advance other centers.
Governor Atefi stressed the significance of a stable power supply at the authority, highlighting its critical role in ensuring the continuity of surgeries, intensive care units, and emergency services. He acknowledged the leadership and staff of Al-Thawrah Hospital Authority for their specialized medical services to the citizens and affirmed the provincial leadership's support to enable the authority to fulfill its humanitarian and national mission effectively.
Furthermore, Atefi recognized the successes and achievements of the authority through development projects and expansions in various medical centers and departments. He regarded these developments as significant additions that enhance service levels and widen their scope to meet patient needs within and beyond the governorate.
The Authority's chairman expressed gratitude to the governor for his continuous support and attention, which have led to improved service levels and resolution of numerous challenges. He confirmed that the achievements are the result of collaboration between the provincial leadership and the authority, and that there are plans for further expansion and enhancement of healthcare services to maintain the authority as a medical landmark for Al-Hodeidah and neighboring regions.
