Dhamar: Attorney General Judge Abdul-Salam al-Houthi inspected the work progress at the Dhamar Appeals Prosecution Office and its affiliated branches. During his visit, the Attorney General met with Dhamar Governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti and other judicial officials to discuss the enhancement of security and the reinforcement of the rule of law.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Head of the Appeals Prosecution Office in the governorate, Judge Anan al-Sultan, Judge Abdul-Raqeeb Isham of the Attorney General's Inspection Authority, and Judge Mohammed al-Harafi, Director of the Attorney General's Office. Discussions focused on improving cooperation between the Public Prosecution and local authorities. The Attorney General emphasized the importance of local authorities in supporting prosecution efforts, highlighting the need for coordination to ensure effective institutional performance and safeguard rights.
Governor al-Bukhaiti expressed his support for the Public Prosecution's efforts, promising cooperation to uphold justice in the region. As part of the visit, an expanded meeting was held with members of various prosecution offices, where Judge al-Houthi stressed the need to expedite case resolutions, especially for detainees. He underscored the importance of prioritizing enforcement cases and called for strict compliance in record-keeping and file preservation to improve performance.
The Attorney General also visited Utmah and Duran District Prosecutions, meeting with local judicial officials to review case handling, scheduling, and coordination efforts to ensure timely resolutions. He urged intensified efforts to promote justice and better serve citizens.
