Al-mahwit: Several government offices and institutions in Al-Mahwit, including the Health Office, the Republican Hospital, the Maternity and Childhood Hospital, the Health Institute, the Technical Education Office, and the Yemeni Red Crescent, organized a commemorative event on Wednesday to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by senior local officials, including Provincial Secretary-General Dr. Ali Al-Zaykum and Deputy Governor Abdul-Salam Al-Dhamari. In his remarks, Provincial Mobilization Official Ismail Sharaf Al-Din emphasized the commemoration reflects Yemenis' deep attachment to the Prophet and his message of guidance, mercy, and noble values, especially amid the challenges facing the Muslim world. He highlighted that the Prophet's life serves as a source of inspiration, urging Muslims to follow his example and uphold his principles.
Health Office Director Dr. Amin Habish stated that celebrating the Prophet's birth sends a strong message to those opposing Islamic values, while also reinforcing faith and devotion among Muslims. The event included poetry recitals and cultural performances in the presence of local leaders and community figures.
