Al-mahwit: Thousands of residents of Al-Mahwit governorate gathered on Tuesday in a massive public celebration at the Great Prophet Square at the city's sports stadium to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Residents from the districts of Al-Mahwit City, Al-Rujm, Al-Tawilah, Shibam Kawkaban, Al-Khabt, Hufash, Bani Saad, Malahan, and Jabal Al-Mahwit flocked to the venue, raising banners and slogans expressing their joy at commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the large crowds, forming a magnificent 'Muhammadan tableau,' expressed their joy at the Prophet's birthday and affirmed their adherence to his noble life and righteous path. They stressed the importance of drawing lessons from his character, qualities, and virtues in a manner that strengthens the faith-based identity and Quranic culture and promotes the values of solidarity, compassion, and steadfastness in confronting the forces of global domination and arrogance.
Participants in the festival, attended by Secretary-General of the Presidency and Chairman of the Presidential Committee Supervising the Governorate's Central Prophet's Birthday Event Hassan Sharaf Al-Din, Governor Hanin Qutainah, members of the House of Representatives and Shura Council, Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, Secretary-General of the Governorate's Local Council Dr. Ali Al-Zaikem, and Governorate Mobilization Official Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, chanted prayers upon the Prophet, religious songs, and slogans expressing their deep loyalty and affiliation with the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and his household.
The participants described the Prophet's birthday as a spiritual and faith-based occasion that renews the meanings of loyalty and attachment to the Prophet's path and offers an opportunity to emulate his life, qualities, morals, and struggle, while recalling the values and principles he embodied in building a society founded on justice, mercy, solidarity, and support for the oppressed.
They affirmed that commemorating the occasion embodies sincere love for the Prophet and provides an opportunity to renew their commitment to following his path and emulating his morals and values, while strengthening social bonds and the spirit of solidarity and cooperation within society.
The crowds stressed the need to act in accordance with the faith-based identity and the principles and foundations brought by the Prophet, in order to strengthen steadfastness and confront the forces of global domination and arrogance, particularly the United States, Israel, and their regional allies.
They considered the massive gathering a message to the world demonstrating the Yemeni people's deep attachment to the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, their commitment to following his righteous path and lofty values, and their continued adherence to their faith-based and cultural identity.
The crowds condemned the continued crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories, including policies of starvation and siege and crimes against civilians, as well as attacks on Lebanon and Syria. They said these actions reveal the true nature of the Zionist entity, based on killing, genocide, and violations of international laws and conventions.
They also condemned the U.S.-Israeli policy of terrorism and siege against the Islamic Republic of Iran, considering it a blatant violation of the rights of peoples aimed at exerting pressure and imposing dominance on countries opposed to U.S. policies.
The participants praised the steadfast position of the Revolutionary Leader, the Supreme Political Council, and the government in support of the Palestinian people throughout Palestine, describing it as stemming from religious, humanitarian, and moral principles in support of the oppressed. They reaffirmed their continued support for the Palestinian cause and their rejection of genocide, starvation, and displacement against the Palestinian people.
They also voiced support for measures taken by the revolutionary leadership, particularly the adoption of the equation 'Siege for Siege, Escalation for Escalation' as a strategic basis for responding to the continued restrictions imposed on Yemeni ports and airports.
The people of Al-Mahwit renewed their mandate to the Revolutionary Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik ??? ????? Al-Houthi, to take the options and decisions he considers appropriate to secure the Yemeni people's rights, recover looted resources, and expel occupying forces from all Yemeni territory.
They welcomed the operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against Saudi enemy mercenaries, declaring their readiness to confront any escalation and support measures taken by the leadership in response to the continuing siege, escalation, and attacks against Yemen.
They also announced a general mobilization and readiness to support the Yemeni Armed Forces in confronting tyrants, aggressors, and criminals, particularly the U.S.-Israeli alliance, its regional instruments, and forces aligned with the Saudi government.
The festival, attended by governorate deputies, the governorate's security director, local, executive, judicial, military, and security leaders, tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, scholars, and social figures, featured poetry, a choral operetta, and spiritual musical performances reflecting the significance of the occasion.
