Al-Mahwit: The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al-Mahwit Province, Dr. Ali Al-Zaykam, along with the province's Deputy, Ahmed Al-Qatma, conducted an inspection of the summer course activities in Al-Mahwit city. Their visit aimed to assess the engagement levels of students and the execution of educational plans at the center.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials were accompanied by Abdulaziz Shamlan, Director of the Social Affairs Office, and Hossam Ibrahim, Director of the branch of the Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities. They observed the implementation of educational programs designed to enhance students' capabilities, particularly in the recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur'an, while also providing cultural and scientific knowledge.
Al-Zaykam and Al-Qatma emphasized the critical role of summer courses in developing a well-informed and educated generation. They noted that these activities are essential for protecting students from cultural infiltration and the influence of soft warfare. The officials stressed the need for a generation equipped with sound knowledge and education to navigate current challenges.
They also called on parents to support their children's participation in these summer centers, deeming them essential educational and faith-based institutions where students can acquire valuable knowledge and skills.
