Taiz:The Local Council in Al-Mawasit District, Taiz, convened an expanded meeting that included mosque preachers, guides, and exhorters. The focus of the meeting was on efforts to normalize conditions, strengthen and unify the guiding discourse, and activate the role of mosques in promoting religious and value awareness. Additionally, the meeting aimed to bolster societal cohesion and solidarity in response to current challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, Hashem Al-Sarouri, the district director, commended the contributions of mosque preachers in guiding society and protecting it from negative influences, foreign cultures, and the threats posed by soft war. He emphasized the importance of unity, rejecting division, countering misleading rumors, and aligning with the general amnesty decision. Al-Sarouri also advocated for fostering a culture of reconciliation, tolerance, solidarity, and prioritizing education.
The preachers highlighted the significance of such meetings in enhancing communication and coordination with local authorities. They underscored the necessity of unifying efforts and directing religious discourse toward addressing societal issues effectively.
