Sana'a: Head of Social Affairs at the Capital Secretariat Local Council, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, recently reviewed the activities of a charity kitchen in the Al-Wahdah District. The initiative, organized by the Social Affairs and Labor Office, received funding from a charitable donor to operate during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Naqeeb, along with Nabil Rajeh, Director of the Organizations Department at the Social Affairs Office, received a detailed briefing from Shahna Al-Nuami, the district's Director of Social Affairs. The charity kitchen is responsible for distributing over 450 meals to impoverished families in the Al-Wahdah District. On this occasion, fifty meals were also distributed to orphans residing at the Safe Childhood Center for Orphans.
Al-Naqeeb emphasized the need for continued collaborative efforts to broaden the scope of charitable activities and initiatives that promote social solidarity during Ramadan. He highlighted that such activities embody the values and principles integral to the Yemeni community, commending all contributors to the Ramadan charitable projects.
