Sanaa: Member of the Supreme Political Council Sultan al-Samai on Friday affirmed that this year's International al-Quds Day comes amidst escalating US and Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and Iraq.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Samai explained that this occasion represents a powerful message in the face of the Zionist entity and its supporters, especially given the continued targeting of countries and forces supporting the Palestinian cause in the region.
Al-Samai criticized the international and Arab silence regarding the ongoing attacks in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause will remain the central issue for the nation and that al-Quds remains the true compass for the positions of countries and peoples.
He called on the Yemeni people to participate widely in the events of International al-Quds Day to affirm the centrality of the Palestinian cause and to support Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque, praising the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the Palestinian cause since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
