Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayyani today inspected the progress of rescue and evacuation operations following the Zionist aggression that targeted civilian sites and media headquarters in Al-Tahrir District of the capital, Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Sayyani, accompanied by the Director of the Public Works Office in the capital, Abdul-Salam Al-Jaradi, reviewed the emergency plan implemented by the office in cooperation with the Civil Defense. The plan included evacuating the wounded and rescuing those trapped in residential buildings, as well as journalists and staff of the 26 September and Al-Yemen newspapers, whose headquarters were directly targeted, resulting in the death of several journalists and civilians.
The Deputy Minister listened to a briefing from rescue teams on the scale of damage and destruction caused by the Zionist aggression in residential neighborhoods and public and private properties. He affirmed that targeting civilians and journalists constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of all international conventions and laws.
Al-Sayyani stated that this aggression is part of the Zionist enemy's attempts to silence Yemen's free voice, which has supported the Palestinian people and their resistance. He held the Zionist entity and its backers, especially the U.S. administration, fully responsible for this crime, emphasizing that such attacks will only strengthen the determination of the Yemeni people and their armed forces to continue supporting the Palestinian people and the resistance in Gaza.
