Sana'a: The Yemeni News Agency, Saba, mourned the martyrdom of journalist Abdullah Mahdi Al-Bahri, who was killed in a Zionist attack on the headquarters of the 26 September newspaper.
According to Yemen News Agency, the obituary noted that journalist Abdullah Al-Bahri was martyred while performing his work, along with a number of colleagues, at the 26 September newspaper headquarters, which was directly targeted by the Zionist enemy. The agency emphasized that this attack on the media in Yemen represents an extension of the systematic targeting of media outlets and journalists in Gaza. This constitutes a violation of international and humanitarian conventions. It noted that targeting media outlets, civilian facilities, and residential neighborhoods is evidence of the chaos in the Zionist entity, as well as its attempts to silence media outlets that expose its crimes in Palestine, Yemen, and other countries.
The statement praised the virtues of the martyred Bahri and his dedication to his media duties since joining the Yemeni News Agency, Saba. It stressed that this crime and other Zionist crimes will not deter national media outlets from continuing their efforts to raise awareness and confront misinformation by the Zionist media.
The agency expressed its condolences to the family of the martyred Bahri and the families of other martyred media personnel. It asked for mercy upon all the martyrs of the Zionist aggression on the capital, Sana'a, and Jawf Governorate, and for patience and solace for their families and loved ones.
