Kuala Lampur:Al-Silw The Local Council of Al-Silw District, in collaboration with the Al-Silw Agricultural Association, has initiated a significant project aimed at surveying, widening, and improving the main roads in the district. This initiative is undertaken in cooperation with the Central Unit for Emergency Development Interventions and the Public Works Office in Taiz governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project's primary goal is to facilitate citizens' movement and alleviate the hardships they face due to poor road conditions. The project addresses urgent service needs by reopening roads that have been damaged or blocked, which have severely hampered residents' mobility and the delivery of essential services, negatively impacting local economic activities.
Key figures involved in the project, including Badr al-Din al-Tayyar from the Central Unit for Emergency Development Interventions in Taiz and Lahj governorates, Al-Silw District Director Adel Sha'lan, and Al-Silw Agricultural Association Chairman Fuad al-Hadabi, have emphasized the significance of these interventions. They have highlighted that the improved road network will better connect residential communities with service centers and markets, serving as a vital artery for local development. This is expected to boost agricultural and commercial activities, making it easier for citizens to access their basic needs.
