Al-Sukhna:The local authority and the General Mobilization Committee in Al-Sukhna district of Hodeida governorate organized a commemorative event on Wednesday to mark the 1448 AH Annual Martyr's Anniversary.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by District Director Mohammed Aqari along with various local and executive officials. During the event, speakers delivered speeches emphasizing the sacrifices made by martyrs in defending the homeland, its sovereignty, and the dignity of its people against what was described as Saudi-American-Zionist aggression.
The event underscored the importance of commemorating the anniversary to draw inspiration from the principles and lessons embodied by the martyrs. It aimed to instill values of struggle and sacrifice in future generations, with participants reaffirming their commitment to follow the martyrs' path until victory is achieved.
In addition to the event, a photo exhibition dedicated to the martyrs of the district was opened. Attendees toured the exhibition, which displayed photographs capturing the heroism and honorable actions of the martyrs on various fronts.
The participants also visited the local martyrs' cemetery, reciting Surat Al-Fatiha for the fallen souls and pledging to continue on the path of sacrifice until complete victory is achieved.
