Hodeidah: The expansion and renovation project of Al Tawheed School in the village of Al Maslubah, located in the Al Mighlaf district of Hodeidah governorate, was inaugurated today. The project, costing $129,959, was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Development, executed by the Social Solidarity Development Foundation, and overseen by the International Vision of Hope Organization.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project encompassed the construction of three new classrooms, alongside essential facilities such as an administration office, three toilets, a water tank, and a solar energy system. Additionally, it included complete school furniture, a boundary wall with a main gate, and the renovation of three existing classrooms.
During the opening ceremony, Engineer Hani Al Bina, the Director of Projects at the Ministry of Education, commended the high standard of the project’s implementation and highlighted its significance in enhancing the educational process in the Al Maghlaf district. He emphasized the crucial role of educational infrastructure projects in boosting education quality and providing a conducive learning environment for students. Engineer Al Bina also expressed gratitude to the funding and implementing bodies for their dedication to projects that benefit the local community.
The event was attended by notable figures including Jaber Al Razehi, Director of the Red Crescent Society branch in the governorate, Zaid Al Aliyi, head of the Social Solidarity Development Foundation, district director Amro Abdulbari, and various directors and specialists from the Solidarity Foundation. Also present were the director of the education department in the district, members of the integrated committee, and the community committee associated with the project.
