Hodeidah:Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeidah Governorate dispatched its seventh field medical team to Al-Khokha General Hospital on Thursday. This initiative is part of a medical twinning program aimed at providing medical, technical, and administrative support to enhance healthcare services.
According to Yemen News Agency, Authority Chairman Dr. Khaled Suhail stated that the team will offer specialized medical, therapeutic, and surgical services. Additionally, they will support hospital departments and work to strengthen operational efficiency. Previous teams have already expanded services through examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and surgery, while also supporting healthcare staff across various departments.
Dr. Suhail reaffirmed the authority's commitment to coordinating with Al-Khokha Hospital to improve medical services. This effort aims to reduce the burden on patients who need to travel outside the district for specialized care.
Al-Khokha General Hospital Director Dr. Abdul-Salam Al-Marhabi praised the support from the authority. He noted that the twinning program has revitalized medical services and expanded access to specialized consultations and treatment. Dr. Al-Marhabi emphasized the importance of continued coordination to improve the hospital's medical and administrative performance, as well as to enhance its operational capacity across various specialties.
