Hodeida: Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeida governorate inaugurated the Fourth Free Medical Camp for patients suffering from heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes. The launch of the camp coincides with World Diabetes Day and aims to provide essential, specialized care to the most vulnerable individuals in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the two-day camp offers free medical consultations in various fields including internal medicine, cardiology, clinical nutrition, and clinical pharmacy. Additionally, the camp provides free distribution of available medicines and offers a 50% discount on laboratory tests and heart scans (Echo).
Governorate Undersecretary for Services Mohammed Halasi visited the camp to inspect its operations. He praised the efforts of the hospital's technical and medical staff in alleviating the burden on patients amidst the current difficult circumstances.
Dr. Khalid Suhail, the Head of the Hospital Authority, noted that the camp received 380 cases from various districts on its first day. He emphasized that the camp is part of the hospital's ongoing commitment to social service and the promotion of regular check-ups, especially for patients with chronic diseases.
