Al-hodeida: Al-Zaydiyah District in Al-Hodeida Governorate held a celebratory evening commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi, attended by the Governor, his deputy, military and security leaders, and social figures.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event affirmed that commemorating the occasion reflects the Prophet's status in the hearts of Yemenis and their connection to his message. They highlighted that recalling the Prophet's biography reinforces the values of supporting the oppressed and confronting hegemony projects, particularly in light of the ongoing aggression and siege on Yemen. Furthermore, the speakers emphasized the need to link the celebration of the Mawlid to the nation's causes, especially the Palestinian cause, and to adhere to faith-based identity and the Holy Quran.
The speeches also addressed Saudi crimes against the Yemeni people, affirming that the siege will not break Yemen's will. The District Director called for enhancing awareness of the Prophet's biography as a means to counter attacks on religious and cultural identity.
The evening included a poem and chanting segments in celebration of the occasion.
