Algiers: Algerian thinker and author Noureddine Abu Lahia has praised Yemen as the ideal model of resistance, stating that it is the only Arab country that embodies the spirit of resistance, jihad, and confrontation. He attributes this to Yemen's leadership under Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, a unified army, and a populace committed to Quranic culture.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Lahia highlighted Yemen's dedication to a Quranic project that transcends sectarian and partisan divides, embracing all sects and movements. He emphasized the importance of Yemen's strategic military operations, which often leave adversaries unable to trace their origins or target leaders effectively. These operations, he noted, are complemented by Yemen's media presence, which promotes the Quranic project and raises cultural awareness.
Abu Lahia also stressed that support for Yemen extends beyond military endeavors to include the dissemination of Quranic culture. He cited a recent speech on "Zionist Christianity" as an example of Yemen's influence on global public opinion, suggesting that such messages might have provoked recent strikes against Yemen.
The Algerian thinker argued that Yemen's stance is rooted in faith and religious responsibility, rather than political or economic motives. He expressed hope that this faith-based premise will inspire a broader resistance movement across the Arab world, countering a long-standing culture of procrastination and inaction that has deprioritized support for the oppressed.
