Sana'a: Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Civil Service Jamal Amir and Dr. Khaled al-Hawali convened on Wednesday to finalize adjustments and key revisions to the draft organizational regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. The meeting focused on ensuring the draft meets current requirements and enhances Yemen's diplomatic capabilities.
According to Yemen News Agency, Amir commended the efforts of the High Committee for Integration and technical committees for their meticulous preparation of the draft, which provides a solid foundation while incorporating necessary revisions to maintain diplomatic independence. Amir highlighted that the proposed changes are grounded in national and international legal frameworks, including the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law, the Expatriates' Care Law, and Vienna Conventions. He emphasized that high-quality organizational regulations are essential for implementing the leader's directives by leveraging positive aspects and addressing any shortcomings.
Al-Hawali noted the committees' focus on the sensitive and strategic nature of the ministry's work, crafting a flexible draft capable of adapting to both internal and external developments. Both ministers reiterated their dedication to completing the regulations promptly, marking the beginning of a new phase in organized and effective diplomatic work.
