Amran: A meeting in Yemen's Amran province, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaaman, discussed ways to strengthen coordination between the local authority, the judiciary, and security agencies to enhance the administration of justice and expedite legal proceedings.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting brought together the president of the province's Court of Appeal, Judge Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din; Chief Prosecutor Judge Hadi Ayda; Amran Security Director Brig. Gen. Mansour Al-Hamzi; and Deputy Prosecutor Judge Abdo Majouhan.
Participants reviewed measures to improve judicial and security performance to accelerate the handling of cases and ensure the timely delivery of justice. They also discussed mechanisms for resolving pending disputes, improving the performance of judicial enforcement bodies, and strengthening coordination among the relevant institutions to ensure their responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the law.
The meeting emphasized the importance of unified efforts and institutional cooperation to address obstacles, reduce case backlogs, speed up litigation procedures, and ensure the prompt issuance and enforcement of court rulings within the legal framework. It also stressed the need to improve public access to justice, strengthen confidence in judicial institutions, and provide an environment that enables the judiciary to operate independently and efficiently.
Governor Jaaman and the president of the Court of Appeal underscored the need for closer coordination between judicial enforcement bodies, security agencies, and judicial authorities to improve efficiency and expedite case processing. They said the current stage requires greater cooperation and the development of joint working mechanisms among the relevant institutions to meet the demands of the justice system and enhance the effectiveness of judicial and security bodies.
The two officials also stressed the importance of continuing efforts to improve the performance of the justice sector, overcome challenges facing the judicial system, and strengthen security, stability, and development in the province.
