Raymah: The local authority, the General Mobilization Office, and executive offices in Raymah governorate organized a cultural symposium on Tuesday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon them both. The event was held under the slogan "Insight and Struggle."
According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Governorate, Hassan Al-Amri. It focused on key moments in the life of Imam Zaid and his deep relationship with the Holy Quran, emphasizing it as the most significant source of awareness and insight.
The symposium highlighted the importance of commemorating this anniversary to promote faith-based and cultural awareness. It aimed to strengthen the community's role in confronting soft warfare and connect future generations to the principles of Imam Zaid bin Ali.
Speakers at the event reviewed the biography of Imam Zaid and his steadfastness in supporting the truth and adhering to Islamic principles in the face of injustice and deviation. They drew inspiration from his life for lessons in patience, struggle, and insight during challenging times.
