According to Yemen News Agency, participants raised copies of the Qur'an and chanted slogans denouncing the offenses, reaffirming their commitment to defending Islamic sanctities and supporting the Palestinian cause.
A statement issued during the rallies held the United States, Britain, and Israel responsible for the insults, called for Islamic unity, escalated popular action, and urged a boycott of U.S. and Israeli products.
