Sana'a: The people of the Capital Sana'a came out today, following Friday prayers, in massive and angry vigils denouncing and condemning the repeated Zionist-American insults to the Holy Quran, embodying the words of Allah Almighty: "Say, O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except because we have believed in Allah"
According to Yemen News Agency, the people of the capital strongly condemned and denounced the heinous crime and the recent American insult to the Holy Quran, the holiest of sanctities on earth, the light that dispels all darkness, and the guidance that saves humanity from misguidance-through the burning of the noble Quran.
They affirmed that the repeated crimes and insults against the Book of Allah reveal the Zionists' explicit enmity towards all sacred principles, their hatred of the divine message, their disdain for noble morals, and their malice towards all values of goodness and justice-and this is the reality of their problem with the Holy Quran.
The participants in the vigils renewed their affirmation of their strong adherence to the Holy Quran, their veneration of it, the entrenchment of its sanctity, and the strengthening of connection to it and guidance by it, stemming from their faith-based identity, as it is the only path to achieving the dignity, honor, freedom, and strength of this nation.
The people of the capital called on all Arab and Islamic peoples to take serious action and adopt firm stances in support of the Book of Allah, and to activate the comprehensive economic boycott of American goods and the products of countries that support Zionism and allow insults to the Holy Quran, as a religious duty to deter the enemies and their evils.
The vigil's statement considered the insult to the Holy Quran and the burning of the noble Quran as a hostile stance against Islam and Muslims, and part of the Zionists' malicious and hostile actions in their conspiracies and schemes against Muslims in all fields, through the devilish, misleading, corrupting soft war, and the brutal, criminal hard war, under exposed banners such as "Changing the Middle East" and "Establishing Greater Israel," and seeking to prevent the spread of the light of Islam to the rest of the world.
It condemned and denounced the continued criminal American and Zionist insults to the Book of Allah, which express their intense religious enmity towards Islam and Muslims and their intense fear of the Holy Quran, which has exposed their dark history and the danger of their satanic projects to all of humanity.
The statement denounced in the strongest terms the silence and failure of the nation's scholars, regimes, and peoples to defend the Holy Quran, affirming to all that there is no dignity, honor, freedom, guidance, strength, or immunity for the nation except through returning to the Holy Quran, venerating it, and being guided by and adhering to its directives.
It affirmed: "Had the Muslim peoples turned to activating the economic boycott of American goods and the goods of countries that sponsor insults to the Quran, they would have forced them, in humiliation, to desist from that."
The statement also affirmed the full support of the people of the capital for the equation of "blockade for blockade," their full support and backing for the armed forces, and their congratulations for the success of the missile and airstrikes that targeted the Saudi enemy's mobilizations and inflicted harm and dispersal upon them, by the grace of Allah and His success.
The vigil's statement urged everyone to continue mobilization and general mobilization at all levels and to maintain high readiness in all circumstances and at all times.
It called on everyone to interact significantly with the events and activities of the Prophet's birthday, to hasten the decoration of mosques, homes, and streets, and to organize and actively participate in charity campaigns under the slogan of the Almighty's verse "merciful among themselves," and to care for the poor and needy from all segments of society.
The statement renewed the emphasis on the importance of making the stance on the enemies' crime of insulting the Holy Quran, and the related practical concerns, among the most prominent topics in the events and activities held by the Yemeni people on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday, as well as in demonstrations and vigils.
