Hodeida:Local authorities in Hodeida province initiated activities on Sunday to commemorate the 1448 AH annual martyr's anniversary. This event featured an expanded meeting attended by scholars, preachers, cultural figures, and community leaders.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was held under the theme 'Our Martyrs, Our Great Men.' Speakers emphasized the sacrifices made by martyrs, underscoring the importance of supporting their families. They also highlighted the role of scholars and preachers in fostering religious and national awareness.
Participants expressed their backing for the leadership's stance against Saudi aggression and urged continued mobilization and support for the fronts. The event was organized by local branches of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance and the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, in collaboration with Dar Al-Uloom Al-Sharia University and the Scholars and Learners Unit.
The anniversary was noted for its significance as Yemen engages in a crucial battle against Saudi Arabia to ensure the rights of the Yemeni people, lift the blockade, and reclaim national resources. The event also lauded the armed forces for their significant victories, including targeting Saudi troop concentrations, vital facilities, airports, and strategic sites in retaliation to the aggression.
