Sana'a: Yemen's Alliance of Political Parties and Forces Opposing the Aggression condemned on Monday the Saudi aggression on Sana'a International Airport, describing the air attack as a desperate attempt to obstruct the return of the official and public delegation that participated in the funeral of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
According to Yemen News Agency, the alliance stated that the strike reflected continued Saudi violations of Yemen's sovereignty, carried out with US and Israeli backing, and accused Riyadh of undermining humanitarian and political efforts.
The statement characterized the attack as a violation of international law and claimed it represented a breach of the de-escalation agreement, arguing that the airport is a vital civilian facility serving millions of Yemenis.
It called on the United Nations, international organizations, and human rights groups to assume their legal and moral responsibilities by condemning the aggression and holding those responsible accountable.
The statement also urged greater national unity in response to continued aggression and called on Yemen's armed forces to respond to the aggression.
