Sana'a: Iran on Monday condemned the attack on Sana'a International Airport, calling it a violation of Yemen's sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter.
According to Yemen News Agency, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that the attack undermines peace efforts and violates the 2022 ceasefire and subsequent agreements aimed at preventing escalation. He emphasized the seriousness of targeting a civilian airport and the threat it poses to passenger safety, which constitutes a severe violation of international aviation law. Iran reaffirmed its support for efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
