Sanaa: The Deputy Chairman of the National Authority for Combating Corruption, Ridan Mohammed Al-Mutawakkil, today received the first financial disclosure statement from Zaid Ahmed Taha Al-Washali, the Chairman of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and Acting Chairman of the General Authority for Maritime Affairs.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Mutawakkil commended Al-Washali's commitment to submitting the disclosure in compliance with the Financial Disclosure Law No. (30) of 2006. This step is seen as a move to strengthen public integrity and safeguard public office.
Al-Washali stated that his submission of the financial disclosure is in full adherence to the requirements of the Financial Disclosure Law. The event was attended by several key figures from the Anti-Corruption Authority, including Mohammed Al-Qanas, Head of the Financial Disclosure and Anti-Illicit Gain Division; Judge Mohammed Al-Shaibi, Assistant Head of the Investigation and Inquiry Division; and Judge Dr. Abdul-Majid Dhafer, a member of the Division.
