Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party Celebrates Yemen’s 36th National Day, Emphasizing Unity as a Strategic Choice

Sana'a: The leadership and members of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party (Yemen Region) extended their warmest congratulations and blessings to the Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, and to the Yemeni people on the occasion of the 36th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22nd.

According to Yemen News Agency, the party indicated in its message that this occasion marks a pivotal historical milestone in the struggle of the Yemeni people, embodying their free will to overcome eras of division and restore national unity in terms of both land and people. The party affirmed that Yemeni unity remains a strategic choice and an irreversible destiny.

The message emphasized that unity is a destiny and a non-negotiable fate, serving as a renewed covenant rather than a fleeting occasion. It represents a pledge to the martyrs who sacrificed for the homeland. The party stated that no adversities or conspiracies will erase these achievements and that any project based on fragmentation is destined to fail.

The party reiterated its national stance on resilience, cohesion, and reconstruction. It underscored that the solution to Yemen's crisis will emerge from a comprehensive Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue, devoid of foreign interference, establishing justice and equal citizenship as pillars for a modern Yemeni state.

The party called upon the national front to demonstrate resilience amidst current security, economic, and humanitarian challenges to strengthen the home front. It lauded the Yemeni people's steadfastness against aggression and blockade, emphasizing Yemen's security as integral to the Arab nation's security.

The statement warned aggressor states and proxies against undermining Yemen's unity, affirming the Yemeni people's resolve to defend and liberate their territory from occupiers. The party rejected partition plans and foreign agendas, urging the international community to cease double standards and support a just Yemeni political process.

The party urged the United Nations to fulfill its moral and humanitarian obligations by facilitating unpoliticized aid delivery. It expressed support for the Leader of the Revolution's directives, praising the armed forces' successes against the Zionist-American enemy and its allies.

The party commended security achievements thwarting enemy attempts to destabilize the nation and called upon the Yemeni people to remain vigilant against plots, arming themselves with Quranic awareness to confront threats.
