Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Wednesday that Iran's missiles are not up for negotiation and that the date for the second round of negotiations with the United States has not yet been set. The statement was made during the 47th anniversary celebrations of the Islamic Revolution.
According to Yemen News Agency, Araghchi emphasized that the large public turnout at these celebrations is a message expressing the strength and power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He noted that this is the most important factor supporting and strengthening Iran's position at the negotiating table. Araghchi asserted, "We will be present in the diplomatic arena with the encouragement of this nation and relying on their conscious and enthusiastic presence on the platform."
The Iranian Foreign Minister further stressed that the public's robust participation is key to the power, stability, and health of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He mentioned that this presence sends a clear message to both the country's friends and enemies. Araghchi also made it clear that the framework of the ongoing negotiations with the United States is not open to negotiation, stating, "No one can touch our missiles, and they are not and will not be a subject of negotiations." He concluded by noting that the date for the next round of negotiations has not yet been established.
