Sana'a: Tribes from al-Hadab and Bani Qais area in Bani Matar district of Sana'a governorate held an armed gathering on Saturday to affirm readiness and preparedness, and to condemn the recent insult to the Holy Quran.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants chanted slogans denouncing repeated U.S. offenses against the Quran, stressing that their stance stems from religious responsibility and a firm faith-based position. They said the insult was not an isolated act but part of a systematic campaign targeting Islamic sanctities and the identity of the Muslim nation.
A statement issued by the gathering condemned the offense, holding the United States, Britain, and Israel responsible for repeated acts viewed as hostile to Islam and Muslims. The statement reaffirmed Yemenis' continued support for Gaza and their commitment to defending religious sanctities and national sovereignty.
