Sana'a:Residents of the Musaik and Dhahr Himyar neighborhoods in Azal district of the capital, Sana'a, organized a large-scale armed stand on Thursday to mark the annual "Martyr's Day" for the year 1448 AH. The event took place under the slogan "Preparedness and Mobilization Meeting Escalation with Escalation."
According to Yemen News Agency, the stand was attended by Shura Council member Ahmed Al-Zubairi, mobilization officials from Musaik and Dhahr Himyar, tribal sheikhs, prominent social figures, and local community leaders. Participants expressed their disavowal of enemies, traitors, collaborators, and mercenaries, while reiterating their commitment to honoring the sacrifices of the martyrs and following in their footsteps until victory is secured.
The attendees declared their readiness and high state of alert to support the front lines with funds and personnel. They pledged to back the armed forces in confronting the escalation by the Saudi-led aggression and its mercenaries, aiming to break the blockade, secure the rights of the Yemeni people, and end the aggression and occupation. They emphasized their absolute mandate to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their steadfastness in preparing for general training courses to confront the nation's and Ummah's enemies and defend Islamic sanctities.
A concluding statement from the rally affirmed the continuation of general mobilization, the ongoing provision of men, funds, and weaponry to the front lines, and full support for the armed forces and mujahideen (fighters) until the Yemeni people's just and legitimate demands are met. It echoed the Yemeni Armed Forces' statement that any Saudi threats against Yemeni tribes would have catastrophic consequences, holding them responsible for any ensuing repercussions.
The statement also urged the tribes of Yemen, their heroic men, and free-spirited sheikhs to continue holding armed rallies with greater momentum in support of the Armed Forces. It called for active participation in the annual "Martyr's Anniversary" commemorations and in visiting and honoring the families of the martyrs.
