Hodeidah: Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi inspected on Sunday the level of staff discipline and workflow at the yards and berths of Hodeidah Port, as well as the efficiency of cargo unloading operations and the handling of commercial containers.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Atifi received a briefing from Deputy Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nasr Al-Nusairi, on operational performance and employee discipline. Al-Nusairi highlighted the efforts of technical and engineering teams to enhance port services, develop work mechanisms, and facilitate procedures for shipping agents and traders.
The governor also discussed with the corporation's leadership the performance of maritime and commercial activities at the port, the flow of cargo and container vessels, and ongoing efforts to improve port services and streamline shipping procedures to help meet the population's needs for goods and commercial supplies.
Atifi affirmed the readiness of the local authority and relevant agencies to provide full support to the corporation's leadership, noting that the Ports Corporation is one of the key service institutions serving the needs of the Yemeni people.
