Sana'a: Attorney General Judge Abdulsalam Al-Houthi has launched the second continuous inspection plan for the year 1446 AH, aimed at reinforcing job discipline within the judiciary following the judicial leave period. The plan is being implemented by the Inspection Department for members of the Public Prosecution Office across 12 committees situated in the capital, Sana'a, as well as in the governorates of Ibb, Al Hudaydah, and Dhamar.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Attorney General's visit to the North Sana'a Appeal Prosecution Office was conducted with the company of First Attorney General Judge Abdulkarim Al-Shami and Assistant Head of the Inspection Department Judge Zaid Al-Hamzi. This visit is a segment of a series of field visits by judicial leaders designed to monitor work discipline after the conclusion of the judicial holidays and Eid Al-Fitr.
Judge Al-Houthi underscored the crucial need for adherence to official working hours and the swift handling of cases, especially those concerning detainees. He highlighted that the inspection plan aims to address deficiencies in pretrial detention, investigation, and electronic registration processes.
Furthermore, the Head of the Inspection Department, Judge Ali Al-Ahsab, along with his deputy, Judge Ali Al-Ansi, and several department leaders, extended their visit to the South Sana'a Appeal Prosecution Office. Here, they engaged with judges and prosecution employees to discuss strategies to enhance performance and tackle existing challenges, ultimately seeking to elevate the quality of judicial operations.
