Sana'a: Electricity, Energy and Water Minister Dr. Ali Saif, along with his deputy Adel Badel, conducted inspections on the job discipline level across the electricity and water sectors, as well as several affiliated entities, marking the first day of official work after the Eid Al-Fitr vacation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ministerial delegation assessed the commitment of employees within various public departments, focusing on the electricity and water sectors. They were provided with details regarding the level of job discipline and listened to presentations on employee commitment from the acting head of the Rural Water Projects Authority, Yahya al-Shami, and several directors general and employees.
During their visit, the minister and his deputy underscored their intentions to monitor the workflow and discipline within the electricity and water sectors, including the Rural Projects Authority. Their goal is to ensure the smooth processing of citizen transactions and the consistent provision of services.
The officials were also briefed on job discipline progress at the General Organization for Electrical Industries and Renewable Energy. The head of the organization, Abdul Ghani Al-Madani, provided insights into the achievements and development projects since its inception, focusing on the field of electrical energy.
Sami Fayeh and Ali Zabara, deputy directors of the Corporation for Technical Affairs and Treatment Plant, detailed the adherence of employees at the Corporation and its regional offices to their official duties post-Eid. The Electricity and Water Ministry emphasized their commitment to visiting the Corporation to review worker discipline and discuss development plans and challenges faced by the organization.
The Ministry aims to enhance the Corporation's role, particularly in expanding water and sewage network repairs, boosting revenues, reducing losses, and supporting efforts to improve service delivery in Sana'a. Fayeh and Zabara reiterated the dedication of technical crews and workers to provide water and sanitation services consistently, even during holidays and official occasions.
