Attorney General Orders Prisoner Release in Habra Reserve

Habra: The Attorney General, Judge Abdul Salam al-Houthi, has ordered the release of several prisoners from the Habra Reserve during an inspection visit to assess the conditions of central and reserve prisons. He was joined by several officials from the Public Prosecution during this visit.

According to Yemen News Agency, the released individuals include prisoners who have served three-quarters of their sentences and demonstrated good behavior, as well as insolvent prisoners whose debts were settled by philanthropists. Additionally, detainees awaiting investigation were released with the necessary guarantees.

The Attorney General emphasized that these prison visits will continue throughout the month of Ramadan, following the directives of Abdul Malik Al-Houthi and Mahdi Al-Mashat. He urged prosecutors to expedite case resolutions and ensure legal procedures are followed to achieve swift justice.
